J. Todd Smith

J. Todd Smith has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. The New Orleans, LA native began his career at the age of 4 as an actor/model in commercials and print ads seen in various publications and countries, including a U.S. Savings Bond commercial about a Father/Son fishing trip co-starring his actual father. He began performing on local theatre stages as well, starring in musicals every summer at the Ty Tracy Theatre at historic Gallier Hall.
J. Todd attended The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where he earned a Certificate of Artistry and attended Loyola University New Orleans as a Theatre Arts Major with a minor in Business where he was inducted into the Alpha Alpha Chi Cast of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society.
After Hurricane Katrina, J. Todd moved to Atlanta, GA where his career shifted to include more work behind the camera, working as a Grip, Camera Op, 1st AD, Director of Photography, Director, Producer, and most recently Aerial Cinematographer. He has worked on feature films, documentaries, industrials, commercials, and PSA's.
As an actor, J. Todd's film credits include Ray, Glory Road, Deja Vu, and What to Expect When You Are Expecting. His television credits include K'Ville (Fox), Army Wives (Lifetime), and Saints and Sinners (Bounce).
J. Todd's production credits include The Fat Boy Chronicles (Producer) and Night Club (Producer). He's also worked on projects for Dillard University, Georgia Tech University, SunTrust Bank, Harken Health, and Delta Airlines.
